Facebook: Who laughs last click

New research reveals that Facebook users fifth are in danger of exposure to malware and viruses that appear in their Feed
Dangerous to surf on Facebook. A new study of BitDefender security software company found that 20% of social network users are exposed to hazardous contents of malware and spyware in their feed. Clicking on these contents can lead to automatic installation of malware advertisement on the wall of the same user who clicked on it, which distributes it on to friends, some of whom choose to click on it as well. The study looked at 14 000 Facebook users. It was discovered that over 60% of messages arrive attacks party applications - Tuesday facts on Facebook. Study also found that 16% of malware lure Facebook user with a promise to watch some shocking video clip. BitDefender note in that they examined only the events in Feed and instant messaging service (which is expected to upgrade soon contain more types of communications between users). This area of the social network serves as a platform for disaster date for sending links to viruses and malware.
According to Facebook, the network constantly monitors the situation which is located on the alert regarding safety issues.
