Phillips Downtown: previous design sound

Philips's new headphones, Downtown, both first and only fashion accessory then headphones. And it shows
Series was created to compete with models like the Bates in terms of design.
Philips is not a company that produces everything, but if you enter the store electronics, chances are you'll find many of the products in several categories. Lamps, through consumer products like shavers and kitchen accessories, and audio and video products - Phillips deals with all of these. And in many of these areas, she has a very good name.
This headphones in, well, not really happened. Lane enormous Philips headphones, but only recently started at Philips to emphasize that they also have premium headphones, not just those who buy a hundred or two hundred dollars. CitiScape, for example, is a series created to compete with models like the Bates in terms of design, and a nod toward the middle of the  models in terms of quality. But the marketing emphasis is on the design - mini - site set up to promote the headphones talk about "Style", before he talks about sound performance.

Looks like a fashion accessory

And model of the Downtown, the object of criticism, it does have style. Figures pillows - large flat leather cover the ear, and leather-like track partially covers the metal strip that connects the headphones - it looks like a fashion accessory. The cable is compatible with the design, is flat, with a built-in hands-free cellphone.
If you like the design of the headphones, and buy them right, this decision entirely legitimate, but there are two things which you should be aware of. The first is that Israel is hot. It sounds trivial, but in the hot summer headphones that touch your ear all the parts (as noted, the Citiscape Downtown pillows flat, without a hole in the middle) is not the most pleasant. On cold days, the opposite is true, but Israel is not too many.
The other thing which needs to be aware of is Philips has not yet jumped on the bandwagon changing cables. Unlike competitors - when the cable is dead, you can not just unplug it and connect one alternative. Headphones that cost about 500 dollars and were designed in 2012, we would expect a detachable cable.

Philips has not yet jumped on the bandwagon changing cables - and shame
Sound Ok, it's okay?

What about the sound? He's fine. "Fine" is perhaps the very statement amorphous, but so is the sound of these headphones. It's not bad, but not exciting. The bass is weak, and the high notes these headphones do not do the job as good as models that cost half the price Snheizr (HD203, we're looking at you).

Do not get me wrong, the sound never became harsh. These headphones frustrating, and do a much better job cheap headphones. They just did not exciting in terms of sound. However, Philips did not market them as such, they want to become enthusiastic about design. The amount you pay is a derivative of the season, not the technology. If you choose the Downtown fashion accessories, you will not get along as a fashionable accessory that produces sounds.
