Goodbye, First Else. Company Else (formerly Emblaze Mobile) announced today that it eliminates the development
of First Else phone, it was first introduced in November 2009. According to the press release, "Following the critical delay in the availability of current status of the project, the Board has decided now to stop any further investment aimed at production of the device First ELSE, and focus only technology platform licensing ELSE Intuition in order to fulfill its potential."Also, the statement that this decision to drastically reduce operating costs and development, indicating layoffs at the company. Now, staying Emblaze's mobile division with two companies - Formula Systems and Emoze. Another company, ZONE-IP, Emblaze has 71 percent.
The project was First ELSE's second attempt to develop a company Emblaze mobile phone, after the "Lfa" failed. Last November, company officials were optimistic when he presented it first, and hoped to sell him for the second quarter of 2010. But now, the phone itself is not launching, and it is unclear whether its innovative interface and will find its way to other phones.
